A local factory gets shut down, the CEO sends pink slips to workers, boxes up their equipment and ships thousands of good American jobs overseas. Then he beefs up his bottom line by deducting the moving expenses from his corporate taxes.
It’s time to end this grossly un-American policy and start pursuing legislation that rewards companies creating jobs here.
The Fourth of July is a day we celebrate and take pride in America, including the goods and services that are made and provided by U.S. workers. There’s no better occasion for Congress to take action on the Bring Jobs Home Act (S. 2884) than our nation’s birthday.
