This Saturday is the 20th annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
Virginia’s NALC members will pick up and deliver tons of food assistance left at mailboxes to those in need all across the Commonwealth.
The “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive is the largest one-day food drive in the nation and all the food donations go to local food pantries and churches. It comes at a time when millions of families are struggling to put food on the table and helps keep food banks stocked through the summer.
What to do:
- Place non-perishable dry and canned food items (no glass please) in a bag and place it by your mailbox. If you live in an apt. or neighborhood with a cluster box, just put the food wherever you go to collect your mail.
- Help spread the word to your members, friends and family through fliers, reminding them in person and by “liking” the Stamp Out Hunger page on Facebook.
Thank you to all of our NALC brothers and sisters for their participation this year.
